Canon RF Mount. The Canon RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM belongs to Canon’s line of RF-mount lenses. It’s compatible with RF-mount cameras, but it doesn’t work with Canon EF-mount cameras.

Versatile Ultra-Wide Zoom. This lens covers an ultra-wide zoom range, making it perfect for landscape, nature, and architectural photography. Its constant f/4 maximum aperture range isn’t useful for low-light shooting, so you’ll probably want to stick with outdoor lighting conditions for best results.

Fast, Ultra-Precise Autofocus. The Dual Nano autofocus system uses both a ring-type USM and an STM mechanism to provide fast, accurate, and nearly silent autofocus performance for both still and video shooters. You also get full-time manual-focus controlled by a customizable electronic focusing ring with three sensitivity levels.

Optical Image Stabilization. The 14-35mm f/4L’s built-in image stabilizer compensates for 5.5 stops of camera shake so that you can shoot in lower light and at slower shutter speeds without worry. When you pair this lens with newer EOS R bodies that themselves feature 5-axis in-body image stabilization, you get 7 stops of shake correction.
