Canon’s mirrorless cameras, the EOS-M, has an 18MP APS-C CMOS sensor and Canon’s Hybrid CMOS AF system, which provides continuous autofocus for both still and video shooting. The 3.0" touch-screen rear LCD works well for composing and reviewing images, even in bright conditions. Its simple controls and several auto modes make it easy for beginners to pick up and shoot, but also offer more advanced manual controls for those interested. Multi Shot Noise Reduction mode and HDR Backlight Control mode shoot multiple images at different settings and combine them together in-camera to give you the highest image quality possible.
The EOS-M shoots full HD 1080p at 24, 25, and 30fps, and 720p at 60fps. Its Movie Servo AF gives near-silent, continuous focus even on moving subjects, with very smooth focus transitions. There is a built-in stereo microphone with 64 manual audio level adjustments and input jack for an external mic. It’s battery is rated at roughly 230 still images or 1hr. 30min. of video shooting.
The EF to EOS-M adapter allows you to mount any Canon lens to the camera, retaining autofocus and image stabilization.
