TheT3i has an18-Megapixel CMOS sensor, HD movie mode, and shoots 3.7 frames per second. It also has the same autofocus system, and of course, shoots full HD video: 1920×1080 @ 24, 30, and 60 fps, among others. It has a nice variable-angle LCD like the Canon 60D and it has the ability to control off-camera Speedlite 320EX and 270EX II flashes (just those, not all off camera flashes) wirelessly from the camera.
Videographers: SLR sensors that are run for prolonged times (several minutes), run at high ISO, and sometimes simply randomly will develop “hot pixels”. Each camera is tested before being sent out for any hot or dead pixels, but they still happen during shooting. Check your video in the field! Resting the camera for 15 minutes may clear the issue up, but not always.
