The Deity Theos 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Mic System provides two bodypack transmitters and a dual-channel receiver that work together to deliver reliable transmission up to 300 feet away. Key features include:
System Breakdown. The Deity Theos 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Mic System sets up a stress-free and dependable audio recording environment. Both of the transmitters and receiver are compactly stylish and work together to deliver reliable transmission range up to 300 feet away using a less crowded UHF spectrum. To survive out in the field, all components of this system are designed with a rugged and durable aluminum exterior. Both of the transmitters and the receiver accept two AA batteries for fuel.
Talkin’ Transmitters. The two versatile bodypack transmitters included with this kit each provide a single 3.5mm TRS Sennheiser-style input jacks to support the two included omnidirectional lavalier microphones. Guaranteeing pristine 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio quality, these units also offer a dynamic range of 123 dB and up to 30 dB of gain, allowing the transmitters to manage a slew of mics and line inputs. Both transmitters are equipped with onboard recorders that feature 24-bit and 32-bit float formats, which can then be saved to microSD cards up to 128gb. Make post-production a breeze with the separately available Deity TC-1, which will ensure your backup WAV files are perfectly synced with your master file. Please note that in the United States, due to a patent infringement, you cannot transmit audio and record back-up audio at the same time.
Receiving End. The dual-channel camera-mount receiver sports a stunning 103 dB dynamic range and will easily attach to a camera’s shoe mount. Since this receiver is dual channel, you’re able to record two on-camera subjects simultaneously. To connect to your camera’s recording inputs, two TRS mono balanced or stereo unbalanced outputs are available, while a USB-C port outputs digital audio when using a mobile device such as a phone or tablet.
Wideband UHF Spectrum. This system sets itself apart from other with its broad UHF strum that ranges from 550 to 663 MHz instead of the typical crowded 2.4 GHz band. This helps eliminate any interference or other issues you may run into when working in an overcrowded frequency range.
App Control and Device Design. Remote control for all three components of this package is available through the Sidus Audio app, which can be found on both iOS and Android app stores. The app easily performs frequency scanning, adjusts gain staging, and much more without even needing to touch the transmitters or receiver. Each device comes equipped with a full-color LCD screen that displays the system’s battery life, audio levels, and other needed information to keep production rolling. On the receiver, you’ll find SMA antenna ports that allow you to swap out antennas to fine tune that frequency.
