The DJI Mavic 3 Classic with DJI RC Remote is a 3-axis gimbal drone and an updated version of its predecessor, the DJI Mavic 3. Key features include:
4K Hasselblad Camera. The DJI Mavic 3 Classic with DJI RC Remote is almost identical to its predecessor, with focus on the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) at the forefront. The result of Hasselblad’s many decades of experience, the HNCS starts from the pixel level of the sensor. Every pixel is calibrated with RGB color data being passed through an image processing algorithm and color processing mode while filming. The result is content containing precise and natural color reproduction, all without the need for color presets. The 3-axis gimbal camera is capable of 4K video at 60 fps, a maximum of 5.1K at 50 fps, and 4K slow-motion footage at 120 fps.
Return To Home & Obstacle Sensing. Take flight without fear of loss or unnecessary damage with the Mavic 3 Classic with built-in Return-To-Home (RTH) system. Once you’re up to your desired altitude, the drone’s advanced RTH system will automatically plot the optimal route back home. This drone uses APAS 5.0 for all-direction sensing, giving it the ability to smoothly avoid objects in flight, while the additional cruise control ensures that your content will have less shaky video footage and more relaxing long-distance flying. For those time-lapse and long-exposure shots, the decimeter-level precision while hovering offers clear & concise shots.
46 Minutes of Flight. Under ideal conditions, the Mavic 3 Classic is capable of 46 minutes of flight time, reaching speeds up to 42 mph as far as 9 miles line-of-sight away from the controller. That sounds great, but odds are, you won’t be shooting in ideal conditions. Be sure to keep the drone within eyesight at all times and away from obstacles like buildings for more peace of mind, and bring backup batteries with you, just in case. Fortunately, the advanced RTH features on the Mavic 3 Classic will plan the best route back to its starting location and can do so once its battery is too low or it loses signal. Keep in mind that the Mavic, like all drones, performs best in daylight and with minimal weather interference, so plan your shoot accordingly. Need any extra batteries? You can rent spares here.
Powerful Remote in a Compact Build. Although the DJI RC’s antennas are plenty powerful, they’re also so small as to be built into the remote’s body. This keeps the remote’s build compact and its weight light at just under one pound. You can use the DJI RC for up to four hours on a full charge, which means you can shoot at multiple locations on a single charge. It comes with commonly used charging ports. The dual-spring control sticks offer smooth, precise control and are designed for maximum comfort, and the remote’s built-in screen lets you link to your drone without the need for a smartphone or a separate app, so you can start shooting as soon as the remote starts up.
Drone Bound to the Included Remote. By default, the drone will arrive bound to the controller that’s included with this rental, so you won’t be able to use your own remote. If you have any special requests regarding controller binding, please contact us.
