Multiple Format Scanning. The Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner features the tools any film photographer needs to convert physical media into digital files, including four film holders for different print formats. The 35mm slide holder accommodates up to 12 slides, 35mm film strip holder accommodates up to 18 frames (three strips, up to six frames per strip), the medium format holder accommodates one film strip up to 20cm-long, and the 4 × 5″ holder accommodates one 4 × 5″ sheet, or scan up to 8 × 10″ sheets by placing directly on the glass.

High Resolution Output. The V850 Pro features a dual lens system that automatically selects a 4800 dpi optical resolution lens for reflective photo scanning or a 6400 dpi lens when using film holders, 48-bit color depth for accurate color reproduction, a 4.0 Dmax rating to capture a wide dynamic range, and can scan color A4 in as fast as 12 seconds. The V850 Pro also features Digital ICE technologies that can remove dust, hair, fingerprints, and scratches from film and prints.
