The Fuji X10 is a classic-styled point-and-shoot camera with a 12mp 2/3" EXR sensor and a fast, optically stabilized 28-112mm (35mm equivalent) f2-2.8 manual zoom lens. In addition to typical point-and-shoot modes, the X10 features a few advanced EXR shooting modes which enable the camera to record high-quality images in harsh shooting conditions.
The camera offers users the ability to shoot with a built-in optical viewfinder or compose shots using the 2.8" rear LCD via live-view. There is a dedicated RAW button to easily switch between RAW and JPEG formats as well as a built-in pop-up fill flash. Other features include 1080p HD video recording, multiple film simulation modes, Motion Panarama mode, built-in electronic horizon level, and four diverse auto-bracketing modes. It takes SDHC/XC memory cards for large storage capabilities.
The X10 is designed for users who want very high quality images in a point-and-shoot that they can take where DSLRs would be a burden. It’s controls are quite thorough for even the most demanding photogs while still offering many scene modes for those who just want to pick up and shoot. It’s ideal for vacations or a day out walking around where you may want to take photos.
