Its focus range limiter switch lets you restrict the focus range to between 0.8 to 1.6 feet, 1.6 feet to infinity, or the entire 0.8-foot to infinity range, giving you responsive distance-based focusing.

Advanced Optical Design. This lens’s twelve-group/sixteen-element optical design features one aspherical element, one Super ED element, and three extra-low dispersion elements to combat color fringing, distortion, and aberrations.
