Q & A

Does this rental include the adhesive mount?

This rental doesn’t include the adhesive mount. If you’d like it, please request it in the Special Instructions box during checkout.

May I swap out this camera’s battery?

The HERO5 Session achieves its diminutive stature by getting rid of the added bulk necessary for a battery compartment. Unfortunately, this means you can’t swap out the battery.

Do I need other accessories to use this camera?

Yes. You must use the GoPro app to change any camera settings. Also, this rental doesn’t include any GoPro mounts, but you can find popular options under Recommended on the left-hand side of this page.

Do you recommend the HERO5 Session for multi-camera productions?

We’ve received numerous complaints from customers attempting ambitious multi-camera shoots with GoPros. It’s our opinion that GoPro HERO cameras don’t fit well into this sort of work, so we won’t honor refund requests for trouble related to these setups.
