Innovative revolving-magazine design
Fast access to your accessories
Durable construction and support system
High capacity
The Kata Revolver-8 Backpack was designed with professional photographers in mind. Key features include:
Innovative Revolving Magazine. The Kata Revolver-8 Backpack’s revolutionary new design (pun intended) will change the way users access their gear at work. It stores lenses and accessories in a revolver-type magazine that’s accessed from one point on the side. This revolving design lets you quickly access and change lenses, all without having to set the backpack on the ground and rummage through it.
Quick Access. This backpack features a quick-access top compartment for storing a pro-sized DSLR with standard lens attached. There are also two small pockets on each side of the top compartment that can hold small accessories or lenses for easy access. Finally, the front of the bag has hideaway straps so that you can attach a tripod for transport.
Durable Construction. The Revolver-8 has Kata’s Spine Guard MK II support system, which provides foam support and structural integrity and improves your comfort level during long shoots. Its waist and sternum straps evenly distribute your rig’s weight, while the built-in rain cover provides protection from the elements.
High Capacity. All together, the Revolver-8 is designed to hold a pro DSLR or smaller DSLR with a grip and standard lens attached, four additional lenses (the manufacturer uses a 70-200, 16-35, 50mm, and 100mm macro as examples), and up to a 15.4-inch laptop. You may be able to carry more or fewer lenses depending on your lens selection.
