The Kessler Second Shooter Plus is an advanced motion-control solution designed for DSLRs and small, mirrorless camera systems. Key features include:
What’s New? The Kessler Second Shooter Plus includes the new Second Shooter Plus Motion Controller, which offers vastly expanded controls and options compared to its predecessor. You get dedicated directional axis buttons that let you simultaneously operate multiple axes, such as pan and slide, giving your manual and pre-programmed moves more flexibility and speed. Integrated Wi-Fi gives you the option of controlling the Second Shooter Plus via iPad using kOS and lets you use optional motion-control accessories. Its SurgeTech feature lets you boost available speed and torque by using a 12V input into the controller to output 24V to each motor. You also get two expansion ports for external accessories and a quiet mode for silent operation in sensitive settings.
Mature Product. Designed without compromises, the Kessler Second Shooter Plus simplifies the process of adding three-axis motion to a shoot while never seeming complicated. Use the same device for time-lapses, looping interviews, and even visual effects! The motor included with this kit is capable of moving mirrorless and DSLR cameras with ease. If your shoot requires a larger cinema style or other heavier cameras, please check out the Kessler Second Shooter High Torque 500 Series Motor.
Easy Setup. Go from unpacking to shooting in just ten minutes! That’s not something one usually expects from a motion-control system.
Sophisticated Operation. Following the principles of key-frame animation, camera moves are planned out in seconds by setting three simple motion keys.
Camera Control Cable Required for Time-Lapse. Using the Kessler Second Shooter Plus for time-lapse requires the use of a specific shutter release cable tailored to whatever camera you plan to use. To avoid making you pay and sort through a bag of unnecessary cables, we rent all of these separately by camera system.
