Touchscreen controls and nearly silent shutter
40MP Leica full-frame monochrome CMOS sensor
Leica Maestro II image processor
0.73x optical viewfinder magnification
Premium Black and White Rangefinder Camera. The Leica M10 Monochrom is an update to the Leica M Monochrom – Typ 246 and is a specialized digital rangefinder camera that uses a unique full-frame monochrome CMOS sensor to produce vivid, rich black-and-white images.
40MP Monochrome CMOS Sensor and Maestro II Processor. The redeveloped 40MP CMOS sensor pairs with the Maestro II image processor to produce a wide dynamic range with serious tonal rendering that takes full advantage of the best of the Leica M-mount lenses. The Monochrom sensor lacks a color filter array, so that its monochromatic imagery boasts enhanced clarity, depth, and resolution. This also gives you an improved ISO 160-100,000 sensitivity range and reduced noise for stellar performance in a range of lighting conditions. The M10 Monochrom’s built-in 2 GB RAM buffer enables 4.5 fps shooting of up to 10 consecutive frames in a burst.
Optical Viewfinder and Rangefinder. The large, bright-line rangefinder-coupled viewfinder provides 0.73x magnification with automatic parallax compensation and bright-line frame lines, which match the image sensor’s size at a 6.6-foot focusing distance.
Built-In Wi-Fi. The built-in Wi-Fi module lets you share images directly to linked smartphones, and enables remote option adjustment and shutter control via the Leica FOTOS app.
Classic Design. The M10 Monochrom features a slimmed-down body profile that’s similar in design to Leica’s film cameras. Its magnesium-alloy chassis and brass top and bottom plates make this camera truly durable, while rubber seals protect it when you’re working in less-than-stellar conditions.
