The used Livestream Studio HD550 4K Live Production Switcher is an all in one solution for multicam, live internet streaming. Key features include:
Super Capable, Super Powerful. This magic little box fills a variety of needs. It can multicam live switch. It can stream. It can record. Essentially it’s a very, very powerful computer, complete with display, housed in a small, easily transportable form factor. And it can handle any number of video tasks you throw at it.
Inputs and Outputs. The HD550 has five switchable HDMI/SDI inputs, with support for up to 4K resolutions. These inputs can be dedicated for either HDMI or SDI connectivity, allowing you to connect up to five sources at a time. There’s also an option to link to up to 10 remote cameras including GoPros and smartphones, and NDI integration with compatible cameras like the Panasonic CX350 with NDI Upgrade.
Switching Things Up. Like a TV studio in a box, the HD550 has support for live transitions and graphics packages. You can cut, dissolve, or wipe, with controls for feathering, positioning, and time duration. The built-In graphics editor allows you to add text, images with transparency, live multi-source video, and effects like borders and drop shadows . You can even create templates to quickly maneuver through a variety of on screen graphics packages.
Virtual Multi Cam. Using a 4K video source, you can create multiple low resolution sources. Basically, take a 4K wide shot of your subject and use it make a series of tighter shots that you can discretely switch between.
Streaming Platforms. There’s integrated HD live streaming to Livestream or any other RTMP compatible service including Ustream, YouTube Live, Akamai, Wowza Media Server, Twitch.
Bonded Streaming. Combine ethernet, wifi, USB modem or cellular 3G/4G LTE to help deliver your content. You can also set up alternate backup connections in case your primary connection fails or becomes too slow. (Additional fees apply.)
