The Nikon D3s is the followup to the D3. It contains all of that camera’s great features in a professional body with a 12.1MP full-frame sensor. Key features include:

The D3s captures JPEG or RAW images at up to 9 fps and can handle up to 42 RAW files or 130 large JPEGs. It can also capture 720 HD video at 24 fps with stereo sound, can capture up to 4,200 exposures per battery charge, and has dual CompactFlash slots.

The D3s has amazing low-light performance with an ISO range of 200-12,800. Expanded mode offers even higher settings at the expense of significant noise and some image-quality reduction. The D3 also has advanced D-Lighting for maximum shadow and highlight details in stills taken under difficult lighting conditions. Its D-Movie mode provides similar image optimization when shooting video.

The D3s automatically corrects lateral chromatic aberrations regardless of lens type. As with the D3, it has a superb 51-point autofocus system and 3D Matrix color metering.
