A world-class telephoto prime, as good as any made by anyone at any time. Maybe better. Do you know the difference between a fairy tale and a Southern fairy tale? Well, a fairy tale starts “Once up...
Yes! We carry several camera straps that add comfort and functionality over default straps found on cameras, like the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap or the Kirk SS-1 KES Security Strap.
“G” is a reference to a G-Type lens and is distinguishable from a standard D-Type lens by its lack of an aperture control ring. G-Type lenses relay distance information to compatible DSLRs like a D-Type lens but rely wholly on electronic aperture control through a camera body.
“AF-S” refers to Auto Focus that features Nikon’s Silent Wave Motor or “SWM.”
“ED” stands for “Extra-Low Dispersion” Glass and is a reference to specialized glass used for the correction of chromatic aberrations.
“VR” or “Vibration Reduction” is a reference to Nikon’s proprietary in-lens image stabilization.
“II” is commonly mistaken as a second version of VR but is actually a reference to the second generation of this particular lens.
