Low-Light Shooting. The relatively fast f/2.8 aperture makes it decent for low-light use, but you’ll be happier with corner performance if you stop it down at least to f/4-5.6.

Optics. One extra-low dispersion element and two aspherical elements reduce chromatic aberrations and distortions, providing sharper image quality. Nano Coatings offer improved light transmission minimize lens flare and ghosting.

Chipped But Fully Manual. This lens features an integrated CPU with lens mount contacts for communicating with compatible Nikon DSLRs. This enable auto-exposure control, aperture control with compatible cameras, focus confirmation beep and lens EXIF data transferred to image files. However, do note this lens is fully manual focusing, meaning you must make all focus adjustments on the lens itself.
