The Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC is a fast, wide prime lens for Canon EF DSLRs. Key features include:
Wide Angle/Fast Aperture. The Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC for Canon is a fully manual wide-angle lens that gives you a wide 84° field of view on full-frame Canon EF DSLRs and has a 38mm (57.6° field of view) equivalent on cropped-sensor cameras. It’s an excellent choice for landscapes, architecture and street photography, as long as you’re comfortable manually focusing.
High-Quality Optics. It features four extra-low dispersion glass elements and two aspheric elements that produce sharp, high-quality images. Its multi-layered and anti-reflection UMC coatings help to prevent flare and ghosting. Its 9.84-in. minimum focusing distance makes it great for exaggerated perspective shots.
Fully Manual Lens. This lens provides no electronic communication with the camera. All aperture and focus adjustments must be made manually on the lens itself. The aperture selected will not be displayed on the camera, and it won’t show up in the EXIF data.
