Ultrawide Dynamic Range. The Sennheiser EW-D CI1 SET Digital Wireless Instrument System boasts a 134db dynamic range, wide enough to support audio inputs at any volume without the need to adjust input sensitivity, a step most audio interfaces require in order to prevent audio clipping. While setting up for a show can be time consuming, this is one less step to worry about. Please note, this kit includes a TRS to TS cable for connecting a guitar or bass to the transmitter.
Equidistant Tuning Grid. Most wireless systems struggle when too many transmitters are close to each other, or put limits on how many channels it can handle. Not the EW-D. Borrowing a tuning grid from Sennheiser’s high-end models, the EW-D spaces 2,240 frequencies equally across the 56MHz bandwidth, ensuring that no modulation, latency, or disconnection interrupts a show.

About That Audio. Sennheiser’s reputation for high-quality audio processing carries over to the EW-D boasting 24-bit digital audio with a flat frequency response, 20Hz to 20kHz, ensuring crystal clear, true-to-life audio. Its 1.9ms latency is essentially indetectable, ensuring musicians stay in time with one another, keeping the performance tight.
Bodypack and Cable Included. This EW-D kit includes the EW-D SK bodypack transmitter rated for up to 330-foot transmission and a 4-foot instrument cable to connect a guitar, bass, or keyboard securely, thanks to the locking connection. The transmitter features a mute button that can be locked or overridden from either the receiver or a mobile device. The EW-D SK is powered by AA batteries, not included.
Smart Assist. The EW-D can be controlled wirelessly from the Smart Assist app, featuring monitoring, frequency allocation, muting, channel naming, and more, and even includes video tutorials and manuals to assist in setup. 16 mic channels can be remotely monitored at a time per device, so if you have more than 16 channels, you’ll need another device.
Receiver. The EW-D EM receiver features an OLED screen for easy monitoring, auto-scan to automatically assign the cleanest frequency, and XLR and 1/4" outputs for direct connection to a PA or mixing board.
