The Shure GLXD2+ SM58 Handheld Transmitter (Z3: 2.4, 5.8 GHZ) is a completely wireless microphone transmitter that pairs well with the GLXD4+ Dual-Band Wireless Receiver. Key features include:
Stage Ready Vocals. The Shure GLXD2+ SM58 Handheld Transmitter provides a dynamic capsule that’s shockmounted to resist handling noise, while the cardioid polar pattern helps to reduce feedback issues and focus more on the vocals at hand. A built-in pop filter controls breath and wind noise, which means an external pop screen isn’t necessary. To protect from wear and tear, this transmitter offers a steel mesh grille on the exterior. Additionally, an On/Off switch is featured and can be locked to prevent any accidents from occurring.
Reliable Wireless Performance. This transmitter automatically scans 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies to find the best channel of transmission possible. This feature ensures dependable performance for your presentations, performances, conferences, and events at a typical range of up to 100 feet indoors and 65 feet outdoors. The system transmits audio with a flat, 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, leaving the sound of your mic unaffected by the wireless components.
Intelligent Battery Rechargeability. The GLXD2+ transmitter runs on an intelligent SB904 rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to 12 hours of continuous use. This battery can be charged in the GLXD4+ Dual-Band Wireless Receiver charging bay, which is located on the front panel, but can also be charged inside of this transmitter using a USB charging cable. You’ll find that even just 15 minutes of charging will run this transmitter for an hour and a half, but you can keep up with the battery percentage on the receiver’s front panel.
