The Sony BDP-S3700 is a Blu-ray player, DVD player, and app-based media streaming box capable of outputting a 1080p signal via its single HDMI port. Key features include:
1080p Blu-ray Player. The Sony BDP-S3700 can play all of your standard blu-ray discs and and output them at full HD 1080p resolution. DVD discs are also supported and will be upscaled to HD as well. A single HDMI port handles output to a HDMI capable monitor or projector of your choice. Please note that this player will not play back Ultra HD Blu-ray disks.
Stream From Over 300 Apps. This player has over 300 apps available to stream videos, photos, and music from popular services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, YouTube, and Pandora. The BDPS3700 has a built-in WiFi adapter for wireless connections as well as an ethernet port for a more reliable, hard-wired option.
Mobile Device Mirroring & Control. Support for Miracast makes mirroring the screen and media from compatible Android devices a painless process, and the TV Sideview app lets Android and iOS user control the player and instantly access all available content.
USB Video, Photo, & Audio Playback. A USB Type-A port is available on the front of the unit to make playing videos, photo slideshows, and music as easy as possible. Just plug your USB stick or USB drive into the port to play compatible files without the need for a computer.
