The 504HD Head with 546B 2-Stage Aluminum Tripod System is a medium-duty fluid-head kit and the predecessor to the 504X w/ Alu Twin Tripod. Key features include:

Yes, within reason. If you want to use the 504 or other heavy head with a fixed half ball, you’ll need a heavy-duty slider like the Kessler CineSlider and the Kessler High Hat Kit. If none of that makes any sense to you, please contact us at support@lensrentals.com | 901-754-9100.
Due to the the 504 head’s size and weight (approximately 7 lbs.), we don’t recommend using it with most of our sliders. For slider use, we recommend the 502 Head and 475B Tripod Kit.
You’ll receive one pan bar with the rental of this tripod. If you need a second pan bar for a studio setup, we also rent spare Manfrotto 509HVL Pan Bars.
