The Teradek Bolt 1000 XT 3G-SDI/HDMI Dual V-Mount Receiver is an add-on unit for the Teradek Bolt 1000 XT 3G-SDI/HDMI Dual V-Mount Kit. Key features include:
XT Upgrades. The Teradek Bolt 1000 XT Receiver functions nearly identically to the previous Teradek Bolt Pro 1000 Receiver":/rent/teradek-bolt-pro-1000-3g-sdi-hdmi-dual-v-mount-receiver but features a lightweight aluminum chassis design, complete with pre-installed pass-through battery plates.
SDI and HDMI Output. This kit can output SDI and HDMI with cross conversion of the two from a transmitter. Dual SDI outputs on the receiver provide more options for viewing the transmitted image.
1080/60p Wireless Monitoring. The transmitter offers support for uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second. Teradek states that line-of-sight transmission is up to 1000 feet without break-up or image degradation with less than 1ms latency. If you lose the signal, the Bolt 1000 XT will automatically reconnect once you move back into range. For 4K capability check out the Teradek Bolt 4K 750 12G-SDI/HDMI V-Mount Receiver.
Receiver Only. The Bolt 1000 XT series is capable of sending video to 4 receivers simultaneously. This rental includes a single receiver intended to be an add-on option for multicasting with our Teradek Bolt 1000 XT 3G-SDI/HDMI Dual V-Mount Kit. The 1000 XT receiver is also compatible with the Bolt Sidekick II, Sidekick LT, and Sidekick XT.
V-Mount Powered. This rental includes one 18W 6-foot AC adapter for powering the receiver. Additionally, we include one V-Mount male and one V-Mount female plate attached to the receiver unit. Do note, batteries / chargers are not included with the kit but are available for rent separately here.
Realistic Wireless Expectations. While this kit is rated for wireless transmission up to 1,000 feet without break-up or image degradation, performance varies greatly from one location to the next. In our experience, we’ve found use at the maximum distance generally unreliable under normal circumstances due to RF interference and recommend stepping up to a long-range option or pairing with an Antenna Array when achieving long distance transmission is critical.
