The ARRI AMIRA Live with 1820-12G Fiber Camera Adapter is a S35 cinema camera solution based on the ergonomics and versatility of the original ARRI AMIRA but tailored for multi-camera productions and live broadcasts. Key features include:

Cinematic Super 35 live TV camera
UHD 4K60, 2K, or HD Video/ProRes
Adapter eliminates external cables to the fiber backend
AMIRA Advanced / UHD 4K / Look Library lic. Pre-installed

Q & A

What about camera control?

Camera settings are accessible through the camera’s ad-hoc Wi-Fi network, allowing you to remotely control the full AMIRA menu system from a mobile device or computer. Customers can also rent either the “ARRI Camera Control Panel CCP-1 for AMIRA”::/rent/arri-camera-control-panel-ccp-1-for-amira or the ARRI AMIRA MVF-1 Viewfinder to control the AMIRA Live. The camera is also controllable with industry-standard Sony Remote Control Panels.

What else will I need?

You’ll need the ARRI 1810U-12G SL Fiber Base Station, along with with either the Camplex SMPTE 311M / 304M Hybrid Fiber Cable – 50 ft or Camplex SMPTE 311M / 304M Hybrid Fiber Cable – 250 ft.
We also recommend the ARRI VMM-1 Viewfinder Monitor w/ Quick Release Yoke and ARRI Camera Control Panel CCP-1 for AMIRA.

Is there a mount that you recommend?

While PL w/ Hirose connector, EF, B4 w/ Hirose connector, LPL w/ LBUS connector, and Leitz Cine Wetzlar M mounts are supported, we suggest using the ARRI PL Lens Mount – Hirose.
