Westcott Scrim Jim 42x72 Medium Reflector Kit

The Westcott Scrim Jim Medium Reflector Kit is a 42″ × 72″ reflector frame with a reflective and diffusion panels. Key features include:

Lightweight Panel. The aluminum frame provides a relatively sturdy build. We wouldn’t suggest use in constant strong winds, but it should hold up well if random gusts come through.

Two Fabrics. With the kit, you’ll get both a silver / white reversible fabric as well as a 3/4-stop diffusion fabric.

Universal Clamp Included. We also include one Westcott Scrim Jim Universal Clamp for secure mounting. The 5/8" stud is ideal for mounting to a sturdy C-stand.

That’s a pretty big modifier. Is there anything else I might need?

Yep! In fact, we highly recommend renting our Impact 15-lb. Shot Bag or Impact 25-lb. Shot Bag in addition to this modifier, especially if you’re using traditional light stands and not C-Stands. Since this works like a big umbrella, it’s easy for even a small amount of wind or someone bumping the stand to knock the whole setup off balance and onto the ground.
If you are planning on mounting overhead or in the wind, we recommend renting an extra clamp here.
