The ARRI SkyLink Base Station (Blue/Silver, Edison) pairs with an ARRI SkyLink Receiver (not included) to add wireless DMX capabilities to ARRI fixtures via an integrated LumenRadio CRMX transmitter or WiFi. Key features include:

LumenRadio-Based Wireless DMX. The ARRI SkyLink Base Station (Blue/Silver, Edison) uses LumenRadio technology to enable wireless single-universe DMX512 control over ARRI lights with integrated Lumen Radio support or wired DMX ports and an ARRI SkyLink Receiver (not included). The basestation can communicate with CRMX devices from up to 1,640 feet and Wi-Fi devices from up to 246 feet.
App Compatibility. ARRI makes their very own first party app called Stellar. Stellar is a free-to-download app but requires a paid subscription to gain any functionality after a 10-day free trial.
App Subscription Cost. We pre-install Stellar on all of our rental iPads, but you will need to pay for your own subscription. The ARRI Stellar app comes with a 10-day free trial when you signup, but after the trial period, a monthly subscription is $9.99 and a yearly subscription is $99.99.
