Control & Switching Options. NDI cameras can be controlled with a variety of software and hardware. We recommend NewTek’s NDI Tools as a starting point for free, software-based NDI control. For simple PTZ control over RS232, we recommend the BirdDog P200 Basic Streaming Kit w/ RS232 Remote PTZ Control. The BirdDog PTZ Keyboard will need to be updated to v4.5.203-LTS in order to work with this camera, and the P200 will need to be updated to v4.5.3414-LTS, but all copies will be fully updated before shipment.
Integrated 30x Zoom Lens. The Bird Dog P200 features a 30x optical zoom lens that will reach from 4.3mm to 129mm. The lens can be moved at up to 150°/s with a 350° pan and 30 to 90° tilt range.
Power Over Ethernet. This camera is capable of utilizing PoE from compatible network switches, but can also be powered by the included AC adapter.
Inputs & Outputs. The camera uses an RJ45 ethernet port for NDI, but also features simultaneous video output via SDI, HDMI, and CVBS. Audio input and output is available with two 1/8" (3.5mm) ports.
