The Blackmagic Design URSA Studio Viewfinder is a 7" full HD electronic viewfinder designed for a studio-style workflow, and the predecessor to the URSA Studio Viewfinder G2. Key features include:
Ursa-Only Viewfinder. The Blackmagic Design URSA Viewfinder is only compatible with Blackmagic’s URSA line of cameras like the Ursa Broadcast Camera and Ursa Mini Pro.
Bright Studio Display. The Blackmagic Ursa Studio Viewfinder features a large 7" 1920 × 1080 IPS monitor that makes viewing the image and critical functions easy even for off-axis viewing. The pivot mounting system allows the viewfinder to be adjusted for comfortable all day operation and the included sun hood allows the operator to focus on the action without distracting people nearby.
On-Screen Tools. Audio meters, camera status information, and tools like false color, peaking, histogram, and zebras can be overlaid on the screen at the touch of a button. Accessible knobs and customizable buttons allow you to change camera settings and assign shortcuts for seamless on-the-fly adjustments.
Built-In Tally. Users who are utilizing multiple cameras and a switcher will love the built in tally light. As the operator cuts between cameras on the ATEM switcher, tally information is sent via SDI so the light is on when the camera is “on air.” The tally light shines red for “on air,” green for “preview,” and orange for ISO recording.
V-Lock Plate Included. The included Blackmagic Design V-Lock Plate for URSA Studio Viewfinder is designed to secure the URSA Studio Viewfinder directly to an URSA Mini, Mini Pro, or Broadcast camera. The V-lock design allows for quick-release operation during assembly and teardown.
