The Profoto Grid Kit for B1 / B2 Off Camera Flash Heads is an optional add-on light modifier for the Profoto B1 and B2 strobes. Key features include:
Directed Light. Grids are designed to produce a narrow, directed light spread that’s commonly used for accent lighting. This kit includes 10, 20, and 30º grids to fine-tune light shape and intensity.
Compact Design. While most grids require the use of a reflector, this kit has a grid holder that mounts directly to the barrel of the Profoto B1 or B2 strobe. From there, you can easily pop in the desired grid. You also get integrated gel clips for color correction and creative lighting applications, although gels aren’t included. All of this fits nicely in its soft zipper case.
For B1 and B2 Strobes Only. The Profoto OCF Grid Kit is only compatible with Profoto strobes that feature an LED modeling lamp, like the Profoto B1X 500 AirTTL 1-Light To-Go Kit and Profoto B10 OCF Flash Head. If you use it on any other strobe, it’ll melt onto the strobe and effectively ruin it, and will also possibly catch fire.
