How durable are these grids?

These grids aren’t very durable at all. In fact, the grid material is just about as durable as aluminum foil. If you push against it, your finger will go through. With that said, please handle with care. If the grids return obviously mistreated, we’ll charge you for their replacement.

Will this kit work with the Profoto D1 or D2 strobes?

No, the Profoto OCF Grid Kit is only compatible with Profoto strobes that feature an LED modeling lamp. If used on any other strobe, such as the Profoto D1 or D2, it’ll melt onto the strobe and effectively ruin it, and will also possibly catch fire.
