Raw Output. Unlock the full potential of the Sony PXW-FX9 camera with the ability to send 16-bit 4K/2K RAW footage to compatible external recorders like the ATOMOS Shogun 7 HDR Pro. Please note, RAW out is only supported when the camera and extension unit are running firmware version 2.0 or later. If you’re renting the camera and extension unit from us, the firmware will already be updated.
Expanded I/O. Sony XDCA-FX9 Extension Unit for PXW-FX9 Camera significantly expands the I/O of an attached PXW-FX9 camera. This extension unit adds a reference output, timecode output, ethernet port, and dual USB ports for utilizing cellular network adapters.
Additional Options for Camera & Accessory Power. The extension unit adds a V-Mount battery plate onto the rear of the FX9 for compatibility with popular V-Mount batteries (not included). Also provided are a d-tap and 4-pin Hirose power output for accessories.
