Comprehensive PTZ Camera Solution. The black BirdDog P240 40X NDI PTZ Cameras offers increased light sensitivity, 40x optical zoom, and an integrated ND filter to keep your images crisp and clear against the forces of sunlight. The cameras include free software tools, such as Central Lite to create NDI sources and drive your NDI streams to any BirdDog Studio NDI or Mini to decode NDI back to SDI or HDMI, Cam Control to allow easy access to settings, and Comms Lite for an audio intercom solution. Additionally included is FreeD, a protocol for sending PTZ positioning data to AR/VR systems including Unreal Engine, Brainstorm, Vizrt’s Viz Virtual Studio, and it’s all built right into the BirdUI.

Sony Exmor Sensor. A back-illuminated Sony Exmor 2.5" CMOS 8.5MP sensor allows the P240 to produce beautiful images with low noise sensitivity and other enhanced imaging characteristics.

Inputs & Outputs. Output options with this camera include NDI, HDMI, and 3G-SDI as well as balanced XLR audio via an optional breakout cable.

360° Mohawk Tally & NDI Genlock. The innovative Mohawk tally gives a full 360° view, so you’ll never be caught out wondering which camera you need to be talking to. Enable NDI Genlock to select an NDI source to be the timing master to provide more predictable timing in multi-camera environments.

NDI Video Scopes. The P240 can generate scopes to send out as NDI, NDI Proxy, or both. This allows for monitoring scopes on the NDI Proxy while sending a clean main NDI feed simultaneously. Choose from histogram, waveform, vectorscope, or RGB parade and the position on the NDI stream!

Tactile PTZ Control. The BirdDog PTZ Keyboard is a solution for moving PTZ camera control off of a screen and into your hands. You’ll get finer control and a faster workflow with a joystick and zoom rocker switch. The keyboard also has dedicated exposure, white balance, and focus knobs.

NDI & Much More. This BirdDog controller is compatible with cameras using NDI, NDI|HX, Visca over IP, RS-422, and RS-232 protocols. When using NDI, users can take advantage of audio intercom support using BirdDog Comms.

Power Trip. This keyboard can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), the serial port, or with the included AC adapter.
