Q & A
For photographers, you will have to mount the lens to your tripod plate and let the camera be supported by the lens mount. The collar is positioned at the approximate center of gravity of the camera and lens and will provide better balance on a tripod. Capable support kits are linked in the “recommended” column. When in doubt, please contact us.
For videographers, you will have to use a heavy duty rail support system and lens support. We have provided links to our heavy duty rail support systems in the “recommended” column.
