The new Tokina atx-i 11-16 f/2.8 CF lens is an impressive update over earlier versions and autofocuses fast when I want it to and manual fine tuning focus is smooth and easy as well. With a focal equivalency of about 16-24, I’m able to take an expansive shot or zoom for tighter compositions. The best part about this lens is the sharpness and clarity of detail I get with it and the versatility of a fast aperture. Having a CP filter in my bag is ideal for mitigating glare and reflections when I’m shooting a sunset over a body of water or for pulling a little more color and detail out of the sky.
