Full HD 1080/30p video capture
The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II is a large-sensor compact camera. We also carry the most recent version, the Canon PowerShot G1X Mark III. Key features include:
Notable Improvements. The Mark II builds on its predecessor in a few key areas. It now has a faster 24-120mm f/2-3.9 equivalent lens with optical stabilizer, an improved 31-point AF system for faster performance, and a new 12.8MP 1.5" CMOS sensor for improved low light, high ISO performance.
Smaller and More Refined. Physically, the Mark II offers a slight reduction in size by dropping the arguably useless optical viewfinder. Instead, you can add an optional Canon EVF-DC1 Electronic Viewfinder. The original G1 X’s articulating screen has been replaced with a higher-resolution 3.0" tilting touchscreen LCD, and built-in Wi-Fi has been added for remote image capture and review.
Advanced Features and Functions. The new DiG!C 6 processor not only improves autofocus performance, but also makes the camera a bit more nimble with up to 5.2 fps continuous shooting with no buffer limit. Full HD 1080/30p video recording is possible with built-in stereo audio. Dual programmable lens rings enable convenient customization, and multiple new star modes allow unique image and video capture. The included NB-12L rechargeable battery is rated for about 240 shots per charge, and images are recorded to SDHC/XC memory cards.
