Versatility. You can use the Digital Juice 8×8-foot Butterfly Frame Bundle to make just about any light a flattering light. Its white faux-silk diffusion material can soften harsh sunlight over a broad enough area to cover your subjects, and it can soften a large single light source or turn multiple lights into one soft light. You can also use it as a reflector, or to punch strobe, tungsten, or HMI light through. The included non-reflective solid-black scrim lets you use this kit as a negative fill or black background.

Portability. You’d typically need a large vehicle to move a frame this size, but the Butterfly Frame Bundle folds up to a mere 48 × 5.5 × 3.5 inches for easy transport with your other gear. It’s so compact that one person can carry, though we strongly recommend having a second set of hands available for setting it up.

Easy Setup. The Butterfly Frame Bundle requires no assembly, making it markedly easier to set up than most frames. Its hinged corners let it simply “pop up” much like a far sturdier version of a small PVC frame. This kit includes bungee cords that let you easily fasten scrims to the edges of the frame and pull their fabric taut, and two sturdy clamps are included to provide two 5/8" studs for mounting to a C-Stand. Do note, however, that you’ll need some sort of mounting arm or grip head like the Avenger D200 2.5-inch Grip Head or Avenger D800 Grip Kit.

Durability. This eight-segment frame boasts a durable aluminum design. It comes with two bags: one for the frame itself, and another for the black and white scrims, and the bungee tie-downs.
