This wireless device is compatible with several Panasonic camcorders though the feature sets vary from model to model. Please read below for the results of our in-house testing.
CX350 – Connect up to 8 cameras to the app for switchable single camera control. The CX ROP app works as a wireless menu interface but is slightly more complicated to set up than earlier camera models. We recommend a prep day and an external monitor for reference if you intend to use this device with the CX350.
EVA1 – Single camera control. This works in tandem with the EVA1 menu system and home screen and features live view when paired with an external monitor. Please note, only one camera can be paired to the app at a time.
Varicam LT – Trigger record and access the home screen. Make changes to TC, FPS, Color, Shutter, EI, System, WB, and User Buttons (must be assigned in camera prior to use) settings. Simple setup but less feature-rich when paired with this camera model.
DVX200 – Limited, single camera control but simple to setup. We only recommend the WM50 with this camera model if basic functions need to be accessed wirelessly due to camera location.
