Panasonic continues to innovate its Lumix GH line with the Panasonic GH7, a Micro 3/4-mount and Micro 3/4-sensor mirrorless camera with versatile recording options and all-new components and software. Key features include:
5.7K30p ProRes RAW & 4K60 4:2:2 10-bit unlimited recording
Dynamic Range Boost function
Advanced detection AF with wider range of subjects
LUTs applied in real time in-camera
The GH7 has two card slots: 1x CFexpress Type B/XQD and 1x SD. The CFexpress slot is capable (with the right card) of Apple ProRes RAW and 800 MB/s 4:2:2 10-bit footage while the SD slot can handle bitrates up to 600 MB/s. A good CFX option is the ProGrade Digital 1TB Gold 3400 MB/s. Note that cards larger than 2TB cannot be used. A good SD option is the SanDisk SDXC 128GB Extreme PRO 300MB/s UHS-II V90. Check out this list of fully-tested cards from Panasonic.
