The New and Improved Rainbow! Introducing the Rainbow 2, the sequel to the original Rainbow Linear LED Light. This design adds a multitude of new features, while keeping the same sleek, sturdy low-profile shape as many of the legacy Quasar products you have grown to love.

Let There Be Light Tubes. In the beginning, there were Fresnel cinema lights. For sure, they’ve come along way since ARRI introduced theirs in 1937, but still, sometimes you just need a low profile lighting solution that can be tucked into a scene without disrupting the flow of action. Sometimes you need a light tube. When you need a light tube that just works, you need a Quasar Science.

Local, Wired, and Wireless Control. The Rainbow 2 can be controlled locally using the integrated controls and OLED screen for precise, repeatable results. The Cat 5/6 RJ45 in/out ports allow lead/follow control for multiple fixtures in an ad-hoc wired network. In addition, wireless control is available using DMX, Lumen Radio CRMX Wireless+ Bluetooth, and Artnet using Wi-Fi connectivity.

Ossium Rail Mounting System. R2 linear LED lights come standard with a mounting rail down the back, lined with 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 female mounts. The included QS Slider and QS Baby Pin work in conjunction with the integrated rail to allow a variety of mounting options.
