The Roland VERSELAB MV-1 Music Production Workstation is a portable, all-in-one workstation designed to let you complete entire songs and compositions. Key features include:

You can load an existing audio file into a tone, drum Kit, or looper track, but you can’t load an existing audio file into a vocal track.
You can use a dynamic mic or a phantom-powered condenser mic with the VERSELAB MV-1.
When using a condenser mic that requires phantom power, make sure to switch phantom power on by pressing the INPUT key and setting Phantom Sw to ON.
You can’t use an electret condenser mic with the VERSELAB MV-1.
You don’t! The Roland VERSELAB MV-1 is an all-in-one production studio designed to let you create, mix, and master complete tracks without the use of a computer.
If you’d like, you can also connect the VERSELAB to your computer, tablet, or smartphone to expand your production capabilities. You can use Roland’s Zenbeats app via a simple USB connection to mix your songs, bounce tracks, and use plug-ins, or you can dump your tracks into your preferred DAW for mixing and further tracking.
Yes! Roland’s Zenbeats app is the VERSELAB’s DAW. It’s compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.
Yes! According to Roland, the MV-1 is only compatible with SDHC cards up to 32GB.
We currently offer two compatible cards, the SanDisk SDHC 32GB Extreme Pro UHS-1 and the SanDisk SDHC 32GB Extreme 90MB/s UHS-1, as separate rental items.
