the camera than the frame of the camera. You will need to significantly raise up the camera body.
2. Trying to do handheld shots was quite challenging. I eventually figured it out, but really appreciated it when I found something I could lean my shoulder against something to help stabilize. It's a 4-pound lens and a nothing body on an MFT so the internal camera stabilization had a challenge keeping it steady. It is doable when you practice significantly and eventually I got some shots with nothing but the lens and camera, but I wouldn't want to shoot a whole documentary that way (which is what I was investigating). It requires a shoulder rig or stabilization option with the right rails and lift to on either a glidecam or fairly powerful gimbal.
The lens is rather amazing, and I'm glad I rented it to try it out. I can see using it on a feature, but will know I'll have to do some substantial re-rigging to accommodate. Very glad it is out there as an option. Read Less
