Scrim Jim Cine Frame Tube. The first component of this kit we’re covering is the 22 inch Scrim Jim Cine Frame Tube, which is used to construct customizable panels and can be attached to optional fabrics such a silks or diffusers. This tube is crafted from anodized aluminum alloy, and heavy-duty hook-and-loop tape is riveted to two sides of the tube for attaching fabrics. A 3/8"-16 threaded mount is incorporated into the tube for mounting atop stands and additional dedicated self-locking connectors are used to combine several pieces of tube to create flat 2D frames or dynamic 3D light shaping tools.

Swing Hinge Corner Frame Connectors. The two Swing Hinge Corner Frame Connectors that are included in this kit connects any four Scrim Jim Cine frame tubes, and creates a hinge system perfect for making V-flats, book lights, or other adjustable, positionable light control tools. Additionally, a built-in positive locking button ensures a secure connection with the frame tube and its durable construction helps to maintain rigidity throughout long shoots and day-to-day use.

Straight Frame Connector. The 2 inch Straight Frame Connector included in this kit is integral to the construction and design, and is used to connect two Scrim Jim Cine frame tubes for creating a longer straight frame tube segment. A built-in positive locking button ensures a secure connection with the frame tube and its durable construction helps to maintain rigidity throughout long shoots and day-to-day use.

2D Corner Frame Connector. The 2D Corner Frame Connector allows this kit to make a 2D panel, reflector, flag, or other flat light modifier. Fabric Galore. This kit includes four different fabrics to complete the setup: a 4×6′ unbleached muslin/black fabric to either block or subtly reflect light, a 4×6′ 1/2-stop grid cloth diffuser fabric to diffuse and direct ambient and artificial light sources, a two-sided 4×6′ silver/white bounce fabric, and a 4×6′ full-stop diffuser fabric to soften ambient and artificial light sources.
