Can I connect a microphone to this adapter?

You can connect a self-powered microphone to this adapter.
Please note that the LT’s connection is only a line level, so you have to substantially increase its gain to get even a quiet audio signal into it.

Does this A-Box provide phantom power?

No. You’ll need a microphone with its own power source, an in-line phantom power adapter, or a microphone that doesn’t require phantom power to use this adapter.

Will this work with any cameras other than the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA 35?

No. This A-Box is designed specifically for the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF and ALEXA 35 audio input port and will not work with other cameras.
