A View to a Kill. The Zeiss DTI 4/50 640 × 512 Digital Thermal Imaging Camera is designed to help you keep eyes on your target when hunting at night. Its 2882-yard viewing range, 2x optical magnification, and 4x digital zoom mean you’ll always have your target in clear view, even when it’s over a mile away.
Smart Patrol. This camera uses Zeiss’s proprietary Smart Image Processing algorithm to provide detailed, contrasty images, even when shooting in the cold. This algorithm uses a three-stage process to optimize images from the sensor, eliminating the need to aim low and keep the game off-center.
The Heat is On. A Movement Alert feature tracks the hottest heat source in the image. When that heat source starts moving, the camera’s top LED will start flashing to alert you. You can also set the display to turn on when the camera detects movement.
Preset the Scene. This camera includes three pre-programmed observation modes, each of which is suited to a different environmental situation. Universal Mode is best for general observation, Detect Mode increases the highlighting of heat sources while reducing the cold background to help you see targets hiding behind trees and bushes, and Fog Mode increases sensor sensitivity to better display your target in foggy or high-humidity conditions.
All the Colors of the Dark. The DTI 4 provides eight color palettes—white hot, black hot, red hot, rainbow, red hue, green hue, dark hue, and night eye—to ensure that you’ll have the right view for any shooting conditions you might encounter.
Power for Hours. By default, the DTI 4’s battery will give you seven hours of life on a single charge, which is enough for two to four hunts. You can extend the battery life by enabling the Smart Standby feature.
Additional Features. A Picture-in-Picture Mode lets you view a zoomed overlay on the original scene, which can help you track targets that make sudden movements. A Hot Tracking Mode puts a red box around the warmest heat source in your field of view, making it easier to find your target in densely overgrown areas. A compass overlay makes coordinating with other hunters in your party a snap. Finally, a 1/4"-20 threaded socket lets you mount the camera on a tripod.
Zeiss Hunting App Compatibility. This camera is fully integrated into the Zeiss Hunting App and will connect to compatible smartphones via built-in Wi-Fi. The Hunting app gives you the power to customize the DTI 4 to suit your shooting needs, and to share photos and video to your smartphone if you need more storage than the camera’s built-in 32GB.
