High-Quality Optics. The Canon RF Extender 2x features a five-group/nine-element design that ensures improved optical performance. All optical elements use Canon’s super-spectra coating, which reduces ghosting and flare to minimize post-processing requirements and a fluorine coating on the front and rear elements makes smudge marks much easier to clean.

Full Electronic Pass-Through. The extender features an integrated processor which ensures all focusing, metering, image stabilization and ID information is available.

The Canon RF Extender 2x cannot be physically connected to the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L

Due to the physical design of this teleconverter, it has VERY limited compatibility. This teleconverter is only compatible with these lenses:
