Simultaneous High-Resolution. The ARRI Multi Viewfinder MVF-2 for ALEXA 35 / Mini LF consists of a 4" flip-out monitor and a high-contrast, high-resolution viewfinder. This viewfinder contains multiple upgrades from its predecessor, the MVF-1, including the ability to detach the eyepiece from the monitor and a built-in eyepiece heater to ease up the fog during cold and muggy conditions. The MVF-2’s high-resolution, high-contrast monitor features the same OLED as the ALEXA LF EVF-2, providing matched views when using both cameras at the same time. This unit provides two control dials, allowing you to use it on either side of the camera body.

Monitor & Eyepiece. This rental includes a new viewfinder cable that incorporates keyless, easy-to-attach CoaXpress connectors, and the cables are available up to 33-feet long for remote control and viewing. The 4" monitor can be flipped out to the side, folded back with its screen visible, or folded flat for single-operator use. The monitor’s tilting function and high daylight visibility provide convenient viewing in almost any situation. A wide exit pupil on this ARRICAM-style eyepiece provides greater viewing flexibility when keeping your eye on the eyepiece during more athletic camera moves.

Designed With Operators In Mind. Taking note from operators that have used previous styles of this viewfinder, ARRI introduced a slide-in card, useful for jotting down camera settings or talent/character names. Also new to this system is a 3.5mm headphone jack for monitoring audio, and as previously stated, the ability to detach the eyepiece from the viewfinder!
