ATEM Amplified. This kit includes four complete HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro broadcast decks, the maximum number you can connect to a single ATEM, in a wheeled case and removable 4U rack cage. Please note, this rental does not include a switcher but they are available here, as separate rental items.
Video Signals. This recorder supports SD, HD, and UHD processing with 4:2:2 sampling and 10-bit color precision. It is equipped with one full 12G SDI input and two 12G SDI outputs so you can play ProRes 4444 files for true Ultra HD fill and key out. The HDMI 2.0 connections and the ProRes and DNx file formats all switch between SD, HD and Ultra HD television standards. Like the other models, H.264 is included for SD and HD, but then switches to H.265 when recording in Ultra HD.
Pro-Grade File-Based Recording. The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Pro records uncompressed Quicktime video up to 4K/30p at 10-bit with 4:2:2 color sampling to ProRes 422, ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422 (LT), ProRes 422 (Proxy), Avid DNxHR, and Avid DNxHR MXF formats. For more efficient and universal files, footage can also be captured in H.264 or H.265.
Dual SSD and SD Slots. This recorder’s two 2.5-inch SSD slots give you the potential to record almost endlessly, since recording seamlessly switches to the second SSD once the first one fills up. An additional UHS-II SD card slot is available as a secondary recording option.
USB-C Compatible up to 10Gb/s. The built-in USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 interface operates independently of the SSD ports, so that you can simultaneously record to SSDs and a computer. You can also play back footage from a computer into the recorder via Thunderbolt, which will make the signal available via the recorder’s SDI or HDMI outputs.
Intuitive Controls. You get VTR-style front-panel record and playback controls. The built-in jog wheel gives you analog-style control over playback. The buttons are illuminated, so you can easily work in low light.
