Will the power adapter provide continuous AC power to a Canon EOS R camera?

No! The PD-E1 USB Power Adapter’s sole purpose is to enable battery charging within the camera body.
If you need a traditional AC adapter for providing continuous power during use, you’ll want the Canon AC-E6N AC Adapter w/ DR-E6 DC Coupler.

Is the reader adapter natively compatible with USB-A devices?

This adapter isn’t natively compatible with USB-A devices.
If you need to use it with a USB-A device, we recommend a USB C to A adapter, like the Pearstone USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Female to Type-A Male Adapter.

Is the tripod a standard-sized tripod?

No, this is a travel-/tabletop-sized tripod with a 12.4-inch maximum height and 17.6 lb. load capacity.

Can I use my Canon EF-M mirrorless lenses on this camera?

Unfortunately not. Canon’s RF-mount system is in no way compatible with their EF-M crop-frame mirrorless lenses.

Can I use my Canon EF-mount lenses on this camera?

Since this is an entirely different physical mount, EF mount lenses won’t natively fit.
You can use the EF-EOS R Mount Adapter / Control Ring Mount Adapter available for rent separately to mount EF and EF-S lenses to RF-mount cameras.
