New Classic. This Induro CLT204 serves as a replacement to our previous medium duty tripod of choice, the now discontinued Induro Carbon 8X CT214.

Medium/Heavy Duty. The CLT204 Classic Series 2 Stealth is rated to support up to 35.3 lbs. by the manufacturer. We think 25-30 lbs. is a bit more realistic, but that’s still plenty for use with a 400mm f/2.8 / 600mm f/4 sized supertele. Its four-stage design gives it a maximum height of 61.4 inches with its center column extended (53.1 inches without) and a minimum height of 12.6 inches. It collapses down to 21.3 inches for easy transport.

8X Carbon Fiber. Its eight layers of carbon-fiber and wide-stanced, cross-braced magnesium-alloy spider design provide a rigid build that weighs a mere 3.6 lbs.

Notable Features. The CLT204 has an oversized center-column lock and reversible locking center column depending on your shooting needs. The large twisting leg locks make setup easier when wearing gloves, while the included interchangeable rubber feet and stainless steel spikes will keep your camera secure. The integrated bubble level helps you get your camera level quickly.

Tool Kit. The CLT204 includes a tool kit with three metal spiked feet, an Allen key, and a dual wrench in its own small case. It also includes a deluxe carrying bag with strap for the tripod legs.
