Conversion Made Easy. With this Magewell Pro Convert SDI 4K Plus video signal convertor, you can quickly convert one SDI signal hosting 8 channels of embedded audio into an NDI stream. You’ll find two SDI ports on this device; the SDI output, which hosts the 8 channels of embedded audio, and the SDI input, which is supported up to 4K30. Alongside the SDI ports, you’ll find an RJ45 Ethernet port, a USB 2.0 Type-B 5V port, and mini DIN-8 port. We’ll get into more details on those below!

Ports N’ Power. To understand everything this teensy convertor is capable of doing, it make take a while of playing around with to figure out how it fits in your setup. To start, the mini DIN-8 port is there for PTZ and Tally control, the Ethernet port gets you an IP address and supports power over Ethernet (PoE) which fuels the device, and the USB 2.0 Type-B 5V port is available for local control, eliminating the need to hop on a network.

Sleek Design. This convertor is pocket-sized and only weighs just under a pound, making it an impactful but nearly invisible addition to your setup. The top side of the Pro Convert Plus boasts a sleek Magewell emblem, with a grill and fan right underneath to keep everything temperature controlled. This rental does include a small L-bracket to give you a mounting point, and a USB-A AC adapter for power.
