Stargazing Made Simple. This Vaonis Vespera Pro Smart Telescope cuts out the usually-bulky setup that comes with wanting to use a telescope. It’s an incredibly intelligent, all-in-one telescope that scales your setup down to one portable piece. Within the Vespera, you can control and adjust your field of view and framing to capture the perfect shot, capture calibration frames, customize camera acquisition settings, and retrieve 16-bit RAW image files.

App Support and Control. The Vespera uses the Singularity by Vaonis app, which is currently only available for iOS. The app is used to control the telescope, view imagery, locate the celestial object you’d like to see, and capture it. This is a smart telescope, so by just using the app, ensuring Wifi connection, and turning the telescope on, you’re able to operate it successfully! With CovalENS mosaic and panorama mode, you can expand your field of view from 1.6 × 1.6° to 3.4 × 2° or 2.56 × 2.56°, increase image resolution to 32MP, and alter the framing to represent what you want in your image.

Integrated Lens and Sensor. This telescope features extra-low dispersion S-FPL52 Lanthanum glass lenses in an apochromatic quadruplet configuration with field correction that capture imagery through its Sony 7.0 × 7.0mm, 12.5MP Sony SMX676 Starvis 2 sensor with a 2.0µ pixel size.

Power and Essentials. With the internal rechargeable battery, the Vespera can run for 11 hours with a full charge! All you need is the uncluded USB-C cable and wall charger to fuel up. Also included in this rental is an adjustable tripod with a built-in bubble level, a pre-installed hygrometer sensor that is designed to automatically trigger an anti-fog system at specific temperatures and humidity, and a lens cap for protection in transit.
